Bluefin tuna makes major comeback in UK waters after decades of decline

Giant bluefin tuna have returned to UK waters decades after their populations collapsed, following the introduction of strict international catch limits.

Ecologist Lucy Hawkes said strict catch limits introduced around the 2010s allowed bluefin tuna to return to UK waters, with some fish caught and tagged during the summer measuring over nine feet long.
