This page sets out the standards The True Post holds itself to and what you can expect from what you read here.
Accuracy
We publish what we can stand behind. Where a story is developing and facts are still contested, we say what is confirmed and what is not, rather than presenting a partial picture as a settled one.
Sourcing and attribution
Every story identifies its subject and section, and reporting that originates elsewhere is attributed to its source. We do not present another newsroom’s work as our own.
Corrections
Mistakes get corrected on the record. If you believe something we have published is wrong, write to manki.roketr@gmx.com with the headline and the detail in question. Substantive corrections are noted on the story itself rather than made silently.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made by the newsroom. Commercial arrangements, including advertising, carry no influence over what we cover or how we cover it, and sponsored material is labelled as such.
Comments
Reader comments are welcome. We remove material that is abusive, unlawful, or posted to mislead.
