After all, El-Sayed once wrote a scathing op-ed about the former president, saying “his list of failures goes on”.
But now, with the midterms fast approaching, and Michigan being a key state for Democrats, Obama’s rallying call for El-Sayed in Detroit may prove pivotal as the race tightens in the final week.
