The president of New York’s Cornell University says he is “deeply disturbed” by the alleged gang rape of a student in 2024.

There has been public outcry over the lack of action from both the university and the police after the 20-year-old student said she was drugged and raped by several men in 2024.

Prosecutors have reopened the investigation.
