US forces are withdrawing from Iraq more than two decades after the 2003 invasion and the fall of Baghdad.
The departure marks a major shift in the US military presence in the country. Some Iraqis see the withdrawal as a restoration of national sovereignty, while others remain sceptical over whether it represents a complete end to the US military presence.
