China’s Lian Yunzhi averaged 4.27 seconds across five solves, breaking the women’s 3x3x3 Rubik’s Cube record she had set just three days earlier. Her 4.27-second mark made her the only female speedcuber in history to ever record an official average time under 4.5 seconds.
