Sky’s Greg Milam travels to Texas with Jane Coates, whose 23-year-old daughter Lucy Harrison was shot dead by her father in January 2025.
A Texas grand jury found insufficient evidence to charge him, but a Cheshire coroner later concluded Lucy was unlawfully killed and that Kris Harrison had acted recklessly with a loaded handgun.
Jane is now campaigning for the US investigation to be reopened, with help from lawyer Radd Seiger, who represented Harry Dunn’s family.
Greg also speaks to a Dallas Police deputy chief who believes the case could raise grounds for a criminally negligent homicide charge.
