The prosecution has opened its case in Russell Brand’s trial, describing him as a “ruthless, calculated and manipulative sexual predator”.
Brand faces seven charges, including rape and sexual assault, relating to alleged offences between 1999 and 2009.
He denies all charges and has pleaded not guilty. Sky’s Katie Spencer reports from court.
