The leaders of the two most powerful AI companies have warned world leaders they need to act to stop the technology posing a risk to mankind.
OpenAI boss Sam Altman, and Anthropic’s Dario Amodei, addressed the UN Security Council in New York.
Mr Amodei said AI “if managed poorly, I even believe that AI could be a risk to humanity as a whole”.
