Manchester City have launched an appeal after the club was found guilty on all charges of “serious breaches” of financial rules.
The announcement comes on the final day the club could make the submission, but the club said they appealed by 7pm yesterday.
City have always denied the charges.
Premier League chief executive Richard Masters has described the case and decision as “the most significant in Premier League history”.
An independent commission laid more than 100 charges against City in February 2023 and heard the case between September and December 2024.
