Fuel shortages threaten life-saving services at Gaza’s Al-Aqsa Hospital

Al-Aqsa Hospital in Deir al-Balah, central Gaza, is facing critically low fuel supplies, threatening the generators that power essential medical equipment and refrigeration.

The Gaza Health Ministry warns that current fuel stocks are insufficient to sustain life-saving operations. Fuel is essential to keeping hospital generators running and preserving medicines and other supplies that require refrigeration.

The World Health Organization has previously provided fuel, but hospital staff say more supplies are urgently needed to prevent medical services from coming to a standstill.
