Explosion in Kyiv as Russian missiles strike across Ukraine

Russian missiles and drones struck Ukrainian cities including Kyiv, Pryluky and Kremenchuk overnight on Tuesday. Two people were killed in Kyiv, while a strike destroyed an apartment block in Pryluky, in Ukraine’s northern Chernihiv region, killing at least nine people including three children, the regional prosecutor’s office said. A boy was pulled alive from the rubble by rescue workers. An attack on the central Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk killed two people and injured 34 others, including two children, regional authorities said on Wednesday
