Andy Burnham invited Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Downing Street after Trump agreed a deal lift sanctions on Russian diesel and said “it’s time for Ukraine to get a new president”.
The visit created “a sense of deja vu” after past US criticism towards Ukraine triggered the UK and EU to rally around Zelenskyy, says Sky’s Dominic Waghorn.
