Small boats ‘set to be used by people smugglers’ in France have been intercepted by police as they passed through the UK.
Officers seized 25 inflatable dinghies on an air shipment being moved from Turkey to the Netherlands.
The seizure at East Midlands Airport is the first time the boats have been detected in air cargo.
Sky’s Jason Farrell reports.
