Cambodia’s Prime Minister, Hun Manet, has opened a conference on combatting internet scamming in the capital, Phnom Penh.
Interpol estimates online fraud is a $442bn a year industry.
It also says Cambodia has become a hub for internet-based fraud.
But the government is keen to shake off the association.
