Israeli air strikes and artillery fire have continued across the Gaza Strip despite a US-brokered ceasefire agreed in October 2025, with at least five Palestinians killed and 15 others injured in a drone strike targeting a public transport vehicle in Tal al-Hawa, Gaza City.
Several of those wounded are in critical condition, with doctors warning the death toll could rise as Gaza’s health system struggles to cope.
Four Palestinians were also injured when a tent in al-Mawasi was targeted, while an Israeli strike on an apartment killed 21-year-old Iman.
The attacks have added to growing fears among Palestinians, who say they are afraid to travel, send their children to school or carry out daily activities amid continued Israeli attacks.
Restrictions on movement and the entry of medicines, humanitarian aid and shelter materials are also worsening the humanitarian situation, as winter approaches.
