The Green Party passing a motion declaring “Zionism is racism” was “completely wrong”, Andy Burnham has said.
It comes as polls have just closed in the Holborn and St Pancras by-election, which was called after former prime minister Sir Keir Starmer quit as an MP, after leaving Downing Street.
Speaking to journalists on a trip to Berlin, the prime minister said it showed “terrible judgement on behalf of the Green Party” and “shouldn’t be supported in any way, shape or form”.
