According to Apple’s service and repair website, the iPhone Duo’s top layer of the foldable screen can be replaced. And it’s quite cheap if you have AppleCare.
Apple says the matte screen cover on top of the main display can be replaced for just $19.99 if you have active AppleCare. You just need to visit one of Apple’s Service Providers. AppleCare also includes a $29 cover display or back glass repairs and $99 inner display replacement. Accidental damage is $99, while theft and loss protection will cost you $149.
