Whatever the reason, we want to hear from 18-29 year olds who have never had a romantic relationship
In our age of endless dating apps, TV dating shows and couple influencers, it might seem like young people falling in love are everywhere. Yet a survey earlier this year found that a third of young adults living in the UK have actually never had a romantic partner.
According to data collected by YouGov, 33% of 18-29 year olds have never been in a relationship – so why is that? Has an increase in working from home removed opportunities to meet new people? Are young people put off by the costs involved in going on dates? Or are members of gen Z simply more content to be single than their older counterparts?
