Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky turned to his European allies on Friday, asking Brussels for an additional €70 billion to fund the war against Russia next year. Zelensky’s relationship with US President Donald Trump deteriorated after the US eased sanctions on Moscow as part of a diesel-supply deal.
