Paramount and Warner Bros merge into one Hollywood giant

Paramount has completed an $81 billion purchase of Warner Bros. Discovery, as its owner Skydance creates a new entertainment behemoth. Billionaire David Ellison’s hostile takeover bid defeated rival efforts from Netflix.
