Iranian human rights lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh wins the 2026 Vaclav Havel Human Rights Prize

The Council of Europe awarded human rights lawyer Nasrin Sotoudeh with the Vaclav Havel human rights prize. She is a prominent advocate for the rights of women, children and political prisoners.
