Ukrainian officials have accused Elon Musk of restricting the country’s access to SpaceX’s Starlink internet network – disrupting its military defences.
Musk weighed in on social media suggesting that responsibility for any such restrictions lies with the US government.
Domitilla Sagramoso, Senior Lecturer in War Studies at King’s College London, tells Al Jazeera the Starlink and Starshield cuts are a “big blow” to Ukraine’s front line fight, as it faces a make-or-break winter without US and European support.
