Farmers have warned that food prices will rise and there could be disruption to food supplies if the diesel crisis gets worse.

The war in the Middle East, along with the conflict between Russia and Ukraine, have put pressure on diesel supplies.

The G7 has responded by saying it will release millions of gallons of fuel.
