US President Donald Trump has denied limiting Ukraine’s access to Starlink technology after a summit in Brussels.

“It wasn’t me,” he said, adding that he doesn’t think it was Elon Musk either and that, as he understands it, it is the same as it has always been.

Al Jazeera’s Alan Fisher says relations between Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy haven’t been as fraught since their contentious Oval Office meeting at the beginning of last year.

Over the past few days, he says, Trump has said Ukraine needs a new president and fresh elections, while Zelenskyy has said Trump’s deal with Russia to import diesel puts him on the wrong side of history.

Al Jazeera’s Alan Fisher reports from the White House.
