The far-right Flávio Bolsonaro pulled ahead against 80-year-old incumbent Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, or Lula, in the first round of the Brazilian election. Many parallels have been drawn between the 45-year-old Bolsonaro and his controversial father, the former president Jair Bolsonaro, who is serving 27 years in prison – and not least in appearance.
