Saudi officials say Riyadh’s main international airport has been attacked again, with an unidentified projectile striking Terminal 4 at King Khalid International Airport and sparking a fire. Emergency crews are responding to the incident, which comes just hours after Yemen’s Ansar Allah Houthi movement warned people to avoid airports in Saudi Arabia. It is the second attack on the airport in as many days and the fourth in the past week. On Saturday, 12 people were killed and more than 300 injured in an attack on the airport, with some of the injured in critical condition. Airport operations have since been suspended, causing severe flight disruptions across the Gulf region. Colonel Turki al-Maliki, spokesman for the Saudi-led coalition in Yemen, says Saudi air defences also intercepted and destroyed a cruise missile near the airport.

Al Jazeera’s Malik Traina reports.
