Israelis have held memorial services across the country to mark three years since the October 7th attacks, in which at least 1,195 people were killed. Families gathered at the site of the Nova music festival, where more than 300 people died, while communities near Gaza also paid tribute to victims. The anniversary comes weeks before Israel’s general election, with some opposition candidates and protesters demanding a formal state inquiry into the attacks. Strikes on Gaza continued as commemorations took place.
