Alex Crawford and her team were the last journalists to leave the besieged city of Taiz before Iranian-backed Houthi forces encircled it.

They witnessed chaos as defensive lines crumbled, funerals came under fire and civilians were caught in the fighting.

The city is at the front line of fighting between Saudi-backed government forces and the Houthis.
