Israeli forces raided Birzeit University in the occupied West Bank, demolishing a memorial honouring at least 38 Palestinian students killed by Israeli forces or settlers, and replacing it with a plant. Students say the move is part of a broader campaign to suppress collective Palestinian identity on campus, alongside repeated raids, threats and restrictions on political activity, including ahead of a January protest supporting Palestinian prisoners.
