Mountbatten-Windsor to challenge whether Thames Valley police acted lawfully over searches that led to his arrest
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is taking legal action against Thames Valley police in an effort to quash search warrants that led to his arrest, with a private high court hearing to take place on Thursday, a judicial spokesperson has said.
The former Duke of York has been granted permission to challenge whether the force acted lawfully over the searches relating to his arrest in February. Andrew’s application for a judicial review is said to have been made earlier this year and recently approved by a high court judge.
