Nasa astronaut Jessica Watkins says her SpaceX crewmates are ‘super glad’ to have reached the International Space Station after an eight-hour trip that set a US speed record. Watkins, the first Black woman to lead a crew to orbit, thanked ground teams and loved ones around the world for their support and says she is excited to return to the station.
