Jorge Moreira Da Silva is the Executive Director of the UN Office for Project Services (UNOPS), that’s a UN body that focuses on implementing humanitarian aid through infrastructure and project management. He’s also been recently appointed as the head of a UN task force to mitigate the impact of the closure of the Strait of Hormuz on humanitarian needs.
